Prism Echo IR Reverb Pack
The Prism Echo IR Reverb Pack is a collection of impulses in 24bit 48khz .wav format to use with your favourite convolution reverb.
I recommend Reaper’s ‘Reaverb’ but it will work with any convolution reverb that accepts .wav files as its impulse.
This is a reverb with close to 200 programs modeled on 80’s to 90’s digital reverb units with a particular emphasis on the cranky, quirky and downright dirty digitalness that was a ‘feature’ of these units and software programs.
I initially created this pack for my own use so I could get to the sounds I wanted when only working inside the DAW.
It is great for musically adding to what is already there, or even beautifully peversing your sound into something with a little life of its own.
Great for modern pop, electronic, synth wave and experimental genres, it makes it fun, quick and easy to get a sound that is simply different from the realistic spaces generally offered.
So if you are looking for true sounding spaces to add to your traditional acoustic music, this one probably won’t be for you.
But if you love a bit of computerized glamour, this will get you something that stands out and conjures up an atmosphere.
The impulses are numbered but, more importantly, they are descriptively named to give you a quick, subjective idea of which one to pick out at any given time.
194 ‘programs’ are included.
Once purchased, the impulses are yours for ever to use in personal and commercial audio projects. I only ask that you don’t distribute them further, out of respect for the work that has gone into creating the pack.
Enjoy!
